Helpful resources

SHC website:

https://www.shc.psu.edu

For any questions or concerns you have regarding Schreyer!

* Quick Tip: if you need help and don't know who to ask, feel free to stop by the Schreyer Office in Atherton (C-5 downstairs!) and someone will be able to guide you in the right direction. P.S. Everyone there is SUPER nice!*

Community Help Centre:

(814) 237-5855

24 hour hotline that provides short-term crisis counseling! No matter what time of day or night, if you need someone to talk to, they are a great resource! Their motto is "Any Problem Any Time" so feel free to give them a call.

*Fun Fact: most of the volunteer counselors at CHC are STUDENTS just like you! They will absolutely get what you are going through as a student at Penn State, and no problem is too small.

CAPS:

http://studentaffairs.psu.edu/counseling/

or

814-863-0395

CAPS stands for Counseling and Psychological Services and is based out of Penn State's University Health Services (UHS, located across from the outdoor pool next to the Bank of America Career Services Building). CAPS is located on the 5th floor of UHS and offers in-person counseling sessions.

* Good to Know: CAPS offers 6 free counseling sessions to students, however, they are often busy so you need to call and make an appointment*
